Severe Vertigo

ATTENTION: Quantum Neurology™ Rehabilitation is not a treatment or a cure; it is Neurological Rehabilitation. Doctors often use the word treatment to describe their interaction with a patient, not to imply a cure for a patient’s Injury, Illness or Condition. Quantum Neurology™ Rehabilitation uses traditional and unique neurological evaluations to perform before and after validation of neurological changes. Even though you may share the same symptoms as a patient mentioned on this website; each patient and their injury, illness or condition is unique. As with any form of rehabilitation; there is no way to predict or guarantee how you or anyone else will respond to neurological rehabilitation. Your results may vary.

List of patient’s conditions and chief complaints:

  • 77 Year Old Female
  • Vertigo (Severe) – Life Long History

February 12, 2003 – The patient is a 77 year old female suffering with a lifelong history of severe vertigo. The patient recalls not being able to tolerate motion since childhood. Every car ride has required motion sickness pills because she suffers from car sickness after traveling only a few blocks. Due to the severity of her symptoms, the rare train or airplane trip were only possible with heavy sedation. Consequently, she has spent most of her life at home.

The patient presented to my office complaining of an inability to tolerate motion. Her physical examination was unremarkable. Her neurological evaluation revealed significant neurological weakness when testing her cranial nerves. Stimulation of most of her cranial nerves would trigger the patient’s vertigo symptoms.

The patient received a total of two Quantum Neurology™ Rehabilitation sessions; which were given on successive days. All of her care was given using only the GRT LITE™. Her sessions consisted solely of Cranial Nerve Rehabilitation.

After the first Cranial Nerve Rehabilitation session, the patient reported some decrease in her symptoms. Following the second session the vertigo disappeared. The patient is no longer dependant on motion sickness pills while traveling. She is now able to ride in a car or airplane without experiencing any motion sickness or vertigo symptoms.

February 5, 2004 (1 year later) – The patient returned for re-examination and a follow-up session. She reported that she remained symptom free during the course of the year. Examination of her cranial nerves revealed some weaknesses. She was given one Quantum Neurology™ Rehabilitation session for her Cranial Nerves.

July 12, 2006 (3 years, 5 months later) and August 15, 2007 (4 years, 6 months later) – On both follow-up examinations the patient stated that she still had not experienced any vertigo, nor had she had any difficulty in traveling, since her initial rehabilitation in 2003.
